Protecting Against Radicalism in Pakistan

In a recent research briefing for Brookings, Boston University fellow Moeed Yusuf finds that expanding access to education is the most promising US-led intervention in Pakistan.

In the report, entitled Prospects of Youth Radicalization in Pakistan, Yusuf writes," a noticeable desire among young men to attain education and find respectable livelihoods could act as an agent for positive change" in the nation currently overwhelmed by radical Islamic madrassah schools.
